The Process
Here is a little bit about what to expect when booking a calligraphy service with me. I can’t wait to chat with you and learn about what interests you!
Logistics
Once you reach out to me you will get a response back within 1-2 days. The first step is to learn about your calligraphy project and discuss all of your options. The more information that you can provide me, the better! Please start by filling out my form below. And if you have a design deck from your wedding planner or an inspiration board, I would LOVE to see it!
Writing and Creating
Before starting your project, I will gather all of the required information from you. Some orders may require a 50% deposit. If we are doing envelope calligraphy, I will need your guest list emailed to me in either Excel or Word. It must be in the format as you would like it written. If we are doing place cards or escort cards, I will need your guest list submitted Word or Excel as well. If you are providing the materials, I request 20% extra to account for human error, late additions, etc. I am always happy to source the paper for you, if you wish! My lettering work begins once all items and lists are obtained.
Finalizing
I review all completed envelopes or seating cards to check for errors. I will organize and package your items according to the list you provided. And I will organize them alphabetically if you wish. Next, I will send you my invoice. And I’ll let you know that your items are available for pick-up. Most clients pick up finished items from my home studio in Dallas.
